There are so many beautiful Digital Backgrounds that will be the perfect touch to your projects. Here is a easy step by step guide on how to add them to the Layered PSD Templates included in the Cutting Files Packages.
Decide which background and which template you will be using. Open them up in either Photoshop or Photoshop Elements.
Drag your background into the Template’s PSD File. Position it over the template you wish to use.
NOTE: There are 2 Templates per package. TEMPLATE WITH BLEED and TEMPLATE NO BLEED.
- Template with Bleed: Larger than the Original Template. For use with Digital Die-Cutters. NOT Intended for Hand cutting!
- Template No Bleed: Original Template for use with Hand Cutting. NOT Intended for Digital Die-Cutters.
Right Click on the line between the Background and Template and choose Create Clipping Mask or alternatively CTRL+ALT Click between the line separating the background and the template to create a clipping mask.
Your Background will now be ‘clipped’/masked to your template.
Showing only the template with the paper.
Now you can add text or more embellishments as you wish. Flatten and Print with your Printer set to Photo/Speciality Paper and ‘Borderless’ to get the best results.
