Girls Room Decor

I am in love with the new set of Cutting Files…they are just perfect for so many creative projects! I want to share this super easy and stunning project I created using the Summer Days Grab Bag.

First let us gather our supplies…

I have some basic stuff and some Glimmer Mist, Embossing Powder & Versamark. I printed out my templates and cut them with my Cricut and Make the Cut software. To be honest that lace diecut looks perfect just as it is! ;) I also did a few butterflies and flowers – I made sure they were the same size as the ones on the lace diecut, just use a ruler to measure.

Layer your flowers and choose your butterflies cause we are going to make something pretty today!

I use a stylus to curl the petals of the layered flowers and to add some dimension.

Then I glimmer mist them…oooh so pretty! ;) Let them dry or use a heat gun.

Now tell me you can see the shine on that baby? It looks just so cute as it is…

Next up let us play with some butterflies…’Stamp’ the butterfly diecut into the Versamark ink pad. Make sure it is nice and sticky.

Cover it with some Embossing Powder…

Lightly tip of the excess and grab ahold of it with some tweezers.

Use your heat gun to melt the embossing powder…and there you have one very cute sparkly butterfly!

Now go ahead and assemble your decoration/frame. I think mine is just perfect for my little girls room! I need to go and get some Shadow boxes!

Here are more views and close ups…

If you liked this tutorial be sure to let me know! ;)
