Paper Roses in a Frame

a Few months ago I posted these Paper Roses in a Frame. I had numerous requests for tutorials. I actually scraplifted this idea from a pea but somehow I cannot find her original project in my bookmarks folder! Not good I know.

It is very easy and quick to make especially if you use my NEW Cutting Files – Paper Roses. I used the Scalloped Rose Template. For details on how to assemble them I created this youtube video:

I love Mass Production…

I used a 8×8 Shadow Box available for only $8 at Walmart.

I found the center of a 8×8 piece of White Textured Cardstock. I marked it with a pencil.

Starting from the Middle outwards I glue the roses down with my glue gun.

I prefer to use even numbers so I did 4×4 rows.

and here is the final product

Easy and simple and sooo stunning. I want to do a collection of these to hang over my headboard. So I hope you try this super easy project out and create something beautiful for your home.

Just on a side note I am leaving next week to visit my family in South Africa, I will be away for almost 2 months so if you have any queries or questions you are welcome to email me at marikoegelenberg(at)gmail(dot)com.

Happy Holidays!
