Making a Frame using Artisan Labels and Silhouette Studio

I want to share a quick tutorial using the Silhouette Studio Software and my Artisan Labels. I created this frame element and inner layer using this technique.

Open Silhouette Studio. Open Artisan Label001. Select all the shapes and go to Object – Group.

With the shape still selected open the Scale window. Select Lock Aspect Ratio. Resize them to 3.5 inches.

ScreenShot018

With Shape still selected Ungroup all the layers (HINT: When Ungroup is greyed out you have Ungrouped all of the layers) Carefully separate the second largest label (i.e. the midsized one). Select the Largest and Smallest Labels and Group them again.

I prefer to group my shapes because if I move them around they stay in position. Here is the Cut preview.

Now they are ready to be sent to your Silhouette.

I hope you enjoyed this quick and easy tutorial.
